Annual Planning

This photo was taken after a week of intense planning with my team from Mexico ranging from sales people, to clinical experts and regulatory specialists. We were focussed on our short and long-term strategy releasing products in all LATAM countries.

Training in Mexico

I set up and organized several trainings for US clinicians to travel to Mexico and train nurses on a new PICC line, as well as gather valuable research on a neonatal pick line in the upstream pipeline. Locations ranged from Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Oaxaca, Mexico.

Setting Up the Trade Show Booth

I was one part of four business units in Edwards. We shared a very large booth taking significant footprint at trade shows both in the US and abroad.

Heart Surgery Using Robotics

The instruments I was product manager for were used in both hand-held surgery when used by a surgeon. They also were used as the long-shafted instruments required for robotic minimally-invasive heart valve surgery.

Products Used in Surgery

I designed the product booth layout for the products I was responsible for, which were catheters allowing a bloodless, still heart required for change or repair of a heart valve in patients. This trade show display was used in both US and international trade show booths where Edwards products were displayed and had FDA/government approval to sell.

Long-Shafter Surgical Instruments

I was responsible to lead the business of long-shafted surgical instruments. Edwards eventually decided to no longer continue selling this French brand. I was responsible for the global product-exit of instruments including managing the warranty, plus gathering loaner instruments from hospitals and clinics around the world from the US, LATAM, EU and AsiaPac.
